PPE Detection
Detect whether people are wearing required protective equipment across the face, head and both hands, for hands-free safety and compliance monitoring.

What PPE Detection does
Head covers (hard hats, helmets), hand covers (gloves) and face covers (surgical, N95 and cloth masks)
Confirms a cover actually covers the body part, not just that one is present
Per-image summary: who has the required PPE, who is missing it, and who cannot be determined
Bounding boxes and a confidence score for each person and PPE item
Frequently asked
Which PPE can be detected?
Three categories: head covers (hard hats and helmets), hand covers (surgical and safety gloves) and face covers (surgical, N95 and cloth masks). It does not detect hi-vis vests, safety glasses or ear protection, those need a custom-trained model.
Does it confirm PPE is worn correctly?
It reports whether a detected cover actually covers the body part, not just that one is present. It does not grade fit beyond that, or identify the specific item (for example surgical versus safety glove).
Can it tell who is and isn’t compliant?
Yes. Set the required PPE and a minimum confidence, and it returns per-person counts of people wearing it, missing it, and where it could not determine, each with a bounding box. It does not identify who the people are.
